Engineer’s Attempt at Writing

I am cleaning my place before the chinese new year. It is suppose to bring you good luck for the next year. I am not sure whether this is true or not, but I think it is about time for me to clean my place a little. I finish sweeping and mopping the floor. I just need to clean the bathroom and the kitchen tomorrow and I will be done. I also finally wired together my speaker system and now I can watch DVDs with 5.1 speakers. However, I have wires running across the wall and now my wall looks like a spiderweb. How do people hide the wires? I wish I had wireless speakers.

I just realized I am older by another year again and the outlook this year is a little bit grim.

I think I have finally become a grown up. I have never owned an iron my whole life. In college and in graduate school, I have never ironed any of my clothing. First of all, I had like only 1 dress shirt and 1 dress pant that needed ironing and therefore, the need for ironing did not arise that often. However, since I started work, I have come to acquire a total of 4 button down shirts. I did not iron them before because they were suppose to be wrinkle free. However, after multiple washing and drying, they are no longer wrinkle free. (Btw, I think there is false advertisement here.)

Today I went to frys looking to get some ram but unfortunately they did not work with my destkop (that is for another post), and I picked up an iron along the way. I got the cheapest iron that Frys carries. I think you become an adult when you start to iron your clothing.
