Engineer’s Attempt at Writing

I have been having quite an experience in India so far. Unfortunately, I did not bring my camera cable and so I am not able to upload pictures and post it here. This will have to wait when I come back to the United States.

I was in Delhi and the city has a lot of people. I mean ridiculous number of people. I visited the red fort, saw the mosque, and visited the Ghandi museum. I have tried quite a bit of Indian food, but nothing close to “orgasmic” food yet. I am still hoping that I will try something that I will just love.

We just finished our day trip at Agra. We did the tourist thing and visited the Taj Mahal. The Taj is quite pretty (the keyboard shift does not work and so i am going to capitalize anymore0). however, like other tourist attractions in india, there were a lot of people. i think the best part of agra was actually when we went to this super fancy hotel (600 dollars – that is right, us dollars – a night hotel) and had some beer. it was so relaxing there. the hotel was clean, nice, and quiet. unfortunately, we could not sit in the veranda because we were not hotel guests. the veranda has a superb view of the taj mahal.

i am currently in udaipur, and i will let you know more about the trip. i actually wrote down interesting events in india so far, and when i get back to portland i will write it out and post it with pictures and stuff.

I just found out that there is a attack in Mumbai India. I am safe right now in Udaipur. I just got here this morning and I am waiting for my friends to go see a Hindu temple and then go get a nice relaxing massage.

I was at Jaipur the last 3 days and now I am in Delhi. Delhi like Jaipur is quite smoggy and full of dust. There are always people asking us if we need rikshaw rides and telling us what store is open. It is getting annoying.
