Engineer’s Attempt at Writing

It is quite amazing how depressing the lyrics are. I listen to them when I go running, but I actually never really know the exact lyric until today when I started searching for them on the internet. For instance, two of my favorite songs are Wasteland and Coffee and Cigarettes. But man are those lyrics depressing:

I wonder why do I like these songs? For some of you who knows me, remember I said that I never really know what they were singing and I just liked these two songs.
