Man for some reason this song is just stuck in my head all day today. For some reason I really like this part of the lyric

” It starts in my toes
makes me crinkle my nose
where ever it goes i always know”

The “crinkle my nose” part somehow sounds really cool in the song. Odd right??

fried twinkee, elephant ear

Friday, July 27th, 2007

I wasted 5 dollars today going to the washington county fair out in hillsburrito. Man it was quite lame because I went by myself. They had these animal farms with cows, sheep, and etc. I thought they were slaughtering them and selling fresh meat. Man I made a big fool out of myself when I asked them if I can get some steak. These animals were there for kids to see. Next time, remember they do not sell meat directly at the county fair.  And they definitely do not kill the cow at the spot.

At least I finally to go try elephant ear. Elephant ear is basically a deep fried pastry with sugar. It was ok, not the greatest. Then I had the  deep fried twinkee which was pretty bad. There was just too much breading. I mean, you already for the “cake” part of the twinkee, why would you need more breading? I think I make better fried twinkee.

receipe #1 (fancy salad :-))

Tuesday, July 24th, 2007

Making salad is one of the easiest things to do. For all of you single people out in the world, here is the receipe:

Bill of material:

Veggies – get the pre-wash, pre-cut bags. it is worth it!!

Strawberry – make the salad look fancy

Tomato – what is a salad without tomato

Grapes – yummm!! extra tasty

Goat cheese – I like goat cheese. Weird right?

A little sirloin steak – I like it medium rare.

First you take the veggies from the bag, and put it in a bowl. Then you cut up some strawberries, tomatoes, and toss it with the veggies. Add some grape to make it extra yummy, and crumbled some goat cheese on top.

To make the steak, just season it with salt and ground pepper. I personally like to grill it on a charcoal grill, however, you can make it anyway you like. Just make sure that the meat is medium rare to medium. If you have well done, it becomes nasty, and does not look appealing either.

No need for salad dressing since you have so much different flavors going on in there already.
Try it out, and let me know how you like it.
