Engineer’s Attempt at Writing

I am bored and everyone has been telling me the importance of being able to write and communicate effectively, so I decided to set up this blog to write about random stuff. I will try every week to write about a topic that I find interesting. I think this is a good way to practice my writing and hopefully improve my writing skill.
If you are wondering where in the world I came up with the domain name bluemuffins.com, then read on.
So I was searching for housing for next semester when I go back to school in Berkeley, and I came upon this post on craigslist for a room near MLK and Rose. The lady that was renting the place was about to give directions, but I interrupted her to let her know that I have lived in Berkeley for 6 years and I know the area pretty well. I asked her if her house was near a resturant named Bluemuffin. She got a good laugh because the resturant was actually Fat Apple. I thought bluemuffin was a interesting name, and I was telling my coworker about how I should quit school and start a resturant named Bluemuffin or a semiconductor company that sells microprocessors jokingly. For some weird season, the name bluemuffin was on my mind throughout the week. So I decided to register the domain name just for fun, but it was taken. I don’t know who in the world would want www.bluemuffin.com, so I did the next best thing and added a ‘s’ to the name and that is how the www.bluemuffins.com was formed.
My writing is pretty crappy and I don’t think I know any grammar what so ever. If you see something that is obviously wrong in my paragraph, you can correct it in the comment I think.
